taking the photo...things become very different behind the camera! Today (or technically yesterday) I ventured outside in 30 degree weather to take a quick photo of devin that was overdue for his class teacher. AND of course the overachiever I am, I had to come of with something somewhat clever. Couldn't just use some photo I already had!
Here is how the conversation went:
me: Ok devin, just smile REAL QUICK.
devin: I don't want to
me: JUST SMILE, it will only take a second
devin: NO!
me: (freezing my butt off)...I thought what would I do if this was not my kid? (ok, really I thought, this kid better smile or else!)
me: Ok, darth tooter...
devin: (smile)
DONE!
Ha, ha! That made me laugh out loud! As a photographer myself, I can totally relate to the thing that happens when you try to photograph your own kids :) But that's a good one :)
